Welcome to Go Outdoors South Carolina – Commercial Licensing
The Commercial Licensing Portal is designed to support South Carolina’s commercial license holders and applicants. Through this system, you can apply for licenses and permits, upload required documentation, and manage your commercial profile online.
If you operate under a business name or sole proprietorship, use the "Lookup Business" option on the left-hand side of the login screen to access your business account.
Important: The business name entered must exactly match the name on your profile / official government document. Partial or abbreviated names will not return a match. For example:
Correct: Go Fish LLC
Not accepted: Go Fish
Your privacy is important to us. This website is intended for authorized customer use only. Unauthorized access is strictly prohibited.
Before You Submit Your Application
Applications Are Not Licenses / Permits
Submitting an application does not authorize you to engage in commercial activity. You must wait for SCDNR to review and approve your application license or permit are issued.
Document Upload Required
Applications may require proof of residency, facility ownership, maps, or other supporting documents. Ensure all required documentation is uploaded before submission
Stored Payment Required
A stored payment method will be required when submitting your application. This payment method will be used to charge your card once your licenses or permits are approved and issued.
Final prices will be based on your residency status at the time of license issuance.

Electronic Delivery by Default
Your licenses and permits will be delivered electronically unless you update your mailing preference in your Customer Profile under “Document Delivery Preference.”
Use the Mobile App for Field Access
Once issued, your license or permit can be viewed in the Go Outdoors South Carolina mobile app, even in offline mode. Be sure to sync your profile after license / permit approval.
SCDNR Customer Profile / Management
Create or Log In to Your Account to:
- Update your profile and mailing preferences
- Apply for commercial licenses and permits (with required document upload)
- Purchase non-game fish tags (no application required)
- Access issued licenses, permits, and associated documents (e.g., maps, terms & conditions)
- View your application history
- Manage mariculture/culture grounds and associated harvesters
Returning Customer to SCDNR: Use your existing SCDNR account that you would use for your recreational license / permits, hunt applications, or vessel registrations.
